My First Taste of Travel

After all the turmoil of switching jobs and getting settled into my new place and new non-student-self, I've decided to take a trip! My boyfriend has been studying in Sweden for the past few months and I'm going to visit for two weeks.

This is my first time flying overseas...I'm a cocktail of nervousness, excitement and panic. Still so much to organize and my flight leaves tomorrow!

My itinerary so far is as follows:

Victoria to Vancouver to Calgary to London to Copenhagen.

Spend a lovely weekend in Copenhagen, attend Sensation White, a notoriously incredible music event where all attendees wear white.

Train to Stockholm and spend the week exploring the city commonly referred to as the Venice of the North.

Fly to Berlin, spend the weekend soaking up all the history and street art that I can. Party until breakfast time. Train to Prague and marvel in its gothic romantic glory. Try not to get lost in the world's largest castle. Fly to my temporary home base of Stockholm and spend the last few days there before I fly back to reality.

I've already spent a fortune and I haven't even packed my bags, but I vow not to stress about money while I'm there. I deserve this. I can make it back now that I'm working a big-girl job. Most of all, when I'm 60 -- i'll remember my two week trip to Scandinavia and not the balance of my bank account at the time.

So world -- here I come.

That's it, i'm doing it.

Okay! I've decided that I want to start up a small business -- creative, small and trendy. Something I can do on my own time, sell online while being able tocontinue to work.

Ideas so far --- Scarf designer!

Consultant of sorts...

Novelist

Guitar straps

Snowboarding bandeeezies

Enhanced Photographs/Artwork

Jewelry? Overplayed though... I need something more unique

hmmmmmm. We'll see/

A friend once suggested that when I die, I should be mummified in all my scarves -- suffice to say, I have quite the collection. Vintage ones from my mom are my absolute favorite but I'm also a huge fan of innovative styles like the ones from Los Angeles desingers, Symmetry.

The mixture of soft with industrial leatherware and metal is so pleasing -- definitely would like to get my hands on one of these.

So it begins!

So apparently, blogging isn't my thing. I haven't posted since January. BUT I'm fully re-inspired to keep up with it so here goes.

First things first, I've recently gone through a great deal of change. Nearly every aspect of my life has been uprooted and finally the dust is beginning to settle. Life after graduation has proven to be a whirlwind of decisions but I believe the whole process has shaped me in a positive way. I left a job that I thought was perfect for me -- and now I'm headed in a direction that is simply a better stepping-stone for me. Now I just need to figure out the next stone!

SO I've decided to write my LSAT. I have tons of time of study now and a position that pays significantly better so law school is still on my mind. I mean, you only go around once right? Might as well aim high. I'm hoping to write the exam in December OR February.

I'm working through a Barron's Educational Series book called "Passkey to the LSAT". Hopefully it lives up to the title! I'll keep you posted with my progress.

Going to dive into some questions now, wish me luck.
